Z is for...

Zoom*

Shows I was watching in the seventies is my theme for the A-Z challenge this April.

Sure, it would have been great to be a Brady, a Bradford, a Walton or a Partridge, but those kids were actors. I was not. I thought my vision was more realistic in dreaming to either be on Sesame Street or to be a Zoom kid. I had no idea what crowds these children were plucked from, nor where to sign up. Yet just like my budding singing career and poetry writing, I was sure to land in this spotlight as well.

Come on and Zoom-a Zoom-a Zoom...
Who are you? Whaddaya do?

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzoom, and this concludes another a-z challenge! Thanks for visiting!

*Yes, I also used Zoom's theme song last year for my Seventies Serenade theme, in case it seems familiar. I did choose a different season for the opening credits.

  1. OH-two-ONE-three-FOUR! SEND IT TO ZOOM! Being from Massachusetts, that show was a pretty big deal up here, b/c it was produced and shot at WGBH in Boston. Honestly I thought it was kind of a weird show....I watched it of course, didn't want to be out of the loop at school and all. Remember that girl 'Wanda' and the way she could twirl her arms together really fast? I used to do that too. lol

Congratulations on finishing A-Z! I really enjoyed your theme.

Speaking of the Partridge Family, I guess you heard Suzanne 'Tracy' died?

  7. I practically worshiped The Waltons. Their family was even bigger than ours, and they, too, had one bathroom. Somehow they all got to use the bathroom when they needed it, though. I used to think I would burst before I had my turn on the toilet.

    Love,
    Janie
