B is for Blogkeeping

When I started blogging, just over two years ago, I focused on the writing portion of the program. I got myself to Blogger easily enough, and tried not to spend much time agonizing over templates. I really hadn't visited many blogs back then, so I just assumed it was all about the words and not the decor. My blog design, or lack thereof, really was a decent reflection of me for quite some time. Things were stuck in spaces where they didn't really fit, nor belong, while other spots had been paid no attention at all.

Just like I wouldn't want to serve you yummy food in an unkempt kitchen, I would like to deliver my thoughts someplace with a bit of a facelift. Now don't be expecting granite countertops or anything, as I did not grow any more tech-knowledge. If you have been visiting for awhile and things look the same, well then I failed (or got called away by chocolate).

I learned a lesson about the alphabet challenge today, and that is to get started early. I knew last night that I was going to go with blogging/blogkeeping, but as the morning went on, I got distracted by belonging, boobs, bras, beauty and breathing. Then, just a little bit ago, I got sidetracked by some dust on my kitchen cabinets. As I cleaned them, I inventoried who had been at my house recently...in the kitchen...standing on chairs...examining the top of the microwave...and decided I might be safe.

  1. I love the new look, Andrea. And so "B" was for Bunnies (of the dust variety)?

  4. Yeah I'm pretty sure the top of my fridge is disgusting. A+ to you (or maybe B+ would be more appropriate :) for cleaning those unseen areas and for giving your blog a pretty new look!

  7. Purple is my favorite color! But I had nothing to do with any dust bunnies...unless the ones under my bed are expanding their empire...
