Crafting some random

C what I did right there with the title? Clever? Oh, yeah, that's right I already did my letter C post. Confused? I decided to participate in this year's A-Z blogging challenge for the month of April. 26 letters in 26 days (Sundays off). Sorry. I just couldn't continue carrying copious crumbs of random around in my cranium (seriously, I'll stop soon) for fear I'd combust. Luckily Stacy is still hosting her party where we can bring our randoms, regardless of what letter they start with.

Stacy

Carrying on...

Target, you have offended me by suggesting that Star Wars is just for boys.
Forget Luke Skywalker, I think I had a nine year old girl crush on C3P-O. (Han Solo too, as I wasn't completely out of touch.) Maybe you have something special in the princesses from all movies line, but those aren't on sale? I could really use a new bun-headed Leia, but not at full price. Hmpf! Plus, my son is offended that you've excluded Legos.

Look what I found in the business certificate filing section of the paper this weekend?
What kind of business do we think she's starting?

I was visiting a friend and felt as dismayed as Lisa Simpson must have by how badly Malibu Stacy and her friends had let themselves go to hell.

  1. Love the box o Barbies. You should see mine they are missing limbs because the dogs have gotten hold of a few of the Barbie's.

  2. You crack me up, you're so clever! ;)

I get offended when ads are gender specific like that, too - especially when Princess Nagger likes some boy toys (wait...maybe I should rephrase that...) and will sometimes get teased for like boy toys (ugh, there's just no good way to put that, really. But you know what I mean). :)

Babies by Cindy does make one wonder!

As a Barbie collector, I would have been dismayed at the state of those Barbies, too. :)

  5. I haven't figured out why they are boys OR girls toys. I played with Matchbox AND Barbies, Swords and Princess stuff... It's just toys, darn it! Babies... Ok, I have no idea about that one... Not going there. As for the Barbies, where is the Barbie (TM) Aspirin for hangovers?

  7. Great post! I too am an equal opportunity Star Wars encourager...boys AND girls should be enjoying that awesomeness! And, I'm with Kim (above) I think Ken hosted one raging party and that's why all those poor barbies look like hell! :)
    Nice to meet you!

  9. So what if you're a girl who likes to play with legos? A kid should be able to play with whatever toys they want! Fun is fun!

  10. That is one sad box of Barbies. Somebody get them a comb! This A to Z thing is so intriguing. How is it that I never hear about these things until it's too late? Anyway, should be fun. And I'm loving the new look around here!
