My So-Called Teenage Life Blog Hop!

You're invited to join the
My So-Called Teenage Life Blog Hop
Part Deux

March 25, 2013

Hosted by Amy of The Big Green Bathtub, Christa Desir and yours truly of Maybe It's Just Me.

We couldn't get enough of this last time, as I mentioned to Amy on more than one occasion. I am so excited that they have agreed to do the hop again, and to even let me co-host. The teenage girl in me feels like I am getting to sit at the cool lunch table! (Now if I can just keep myself from cracking up with a mouthful of milk, thereby sending it spurting all over the belongings of the cool girls like I did in eighth grade...)

Here's how the blog hop works:

  • Step One: Sign up on the linky below
  • Step Two: Dust off those old sappy diaries bursting with teenage angst or high school notebooks filled with bad poetry*
  • Step Three: Skim through them until you find something share-worthy
  • Step Four: On Monday, March 25 POST IT on your blog
  • Optional: We all love seeing old photos, so if you have one lying around of you as a teen, post that, too.

We'll all be hopping around peeking into each others private teenage lives on March 25. C'mon! What else do you have to do?

*Didn't write in a journal or compose poetry as a teenager? Have no fear! Counterfeit entries are welcome! Pretend you're a teenager and write whatever you feel. Just make sure you're using your teenage voice.
And if you're still a teenager, hey, you're going to basically rock this blog hop.

Sign up below!

  1. Yay! So excited. And I had to laugh about the "cool girls" reference. I was just telling my daughter the other day how uncool I was in high school. ha ha ha! And everyone will know it when they read my entry later in the month. :)

  2. I was so uncool in high school that I never kept a diary or journal and never took pictures :( sounds fun, though!

  3. I burned my journals. I didn't want any evidence lying around.

  4. I was never one to keep a diary or a journal (I think I was afraid one of my siblings would find it and blackmail me with it) but I'll come up with something - sounds like fun! Thanks so much for the invite! :)

  5. Okay, I'm in. I DO have a diary. Which, sadly, I only wrote in when I was in a state of high angst. I'll definitely have to change the names to protect ME. Too many old friends follow my blog!

  6. Bah ha ha ha !!! Okay....I'll link up later.....I made a pig out of myself at dinner......I'm miserable!

  7. Sounds like a great hop-- wish I still had my angsty diaries :)

    1. Come on....certainly you can re-create one entry! :)

  8. You will remind me, won't you?

    Love, The Forgetful One

  9. Thank you for the invite Andrea. My diary entries are shockingly cringe-worthy, so I might just have to make it up so that I come across as cool, rather than the nerd I actually was. :)

    1. Ooh, not sure why Betty appeared instead of Jessica.

  10. Can I still sign-up on Saturday? I need to find some evidence in the attic.

    1. that certainly sounds worth waiting for!

  11. Hi Andrea,
    This is really funny,
    OMG! those teenage times!!!
    Yes, really funny.
    Keep cracking!
    Well we'll meet on 25th
    Best Regards
