52 Weeks of Happiness - Week 45

After yet another string of pep talks from my cough drops...
Seriously, I still think these are ridiculous!

...I was able to quit my whining and venture off in search of happiness. Luckily I only had to go as far as the kitchen counter to find a smile. My daughter's Hello Kitty Chia Pet makes me happy.

My son thought it was the perfect Christmas gift for his sister, who has been a "Hiyo Titty" fan since way back...way back when she talked like that. (Sigh.)

Hello Kitty's cuteness, and the nostalgia she brings, makes me happy.

  1. Helloooooooo and Happy New Year! Awww, I'm so sorry to hear that you are under the weather. Sounds quite nasty. :( I've been in a funk these past few weeks, but your little chia kitty does make me happy too. Thank you. Feel better!

  2. "You got it in you?""

Oh the fun my husband would have with that one.

Hope you're feeling better soon & enjoying your "titty."

Is it my imagination, or was this post just a little dirty?

  3. I think it's nice he's so thoughtful. I hope the Chia Pet lives. My brother also had a Chia Pet as I'm sure you know.

  4. Awwwww!!! So adorable! That makes me happy too!

  5. Ch-ch-ch-chia!!! ;P Shanley Belle has a college friend named Chia, and every time her name is mentioned, I develop a sudden case of Tourette's Syndromw (sp?) and I cant help myself and I say, 'Ch-ch-ch-chia!" :/
Hey, I'm hosting My Happy List every Tuesday now, and you should link-up!

PS Hello Kitty always makes me happy!!!!

  6. I've never actually owned a Chia Pet. Not sure how this is possible.

And Hiyo Titty sounds like something Ed McMahon would say if he was being blue. ;)
