So many things, so little brain power left to form complete thoughts!
I've been dabbling with some insomnia lately, not a lot, but enough to
know that I do not find it enjoyable. I have also been reminded how
strongly I gravitate towards the kitchen when I am feeling stressed.
Here, I'll show you...
|
Zucchini relish? Sure, why not? |
|
Dill pickles. Hope they are good. I will not know, as I do not like them Sam I Am. |
|
Bread & Butter pickles. Crinkle cut for extra pizazz this year! |
|
The boy says this tomato had some balls showing up here (on salsa day, no less). |
|
Not a terribly effective defense against onion vapor, but desperate times... |
|
22 jars of salsa on the counter, 22 jars of salsa... |
|
Maybe three batches of cupcakes weren't necessary for two girls to decorate. |
|
Mmmmm...cheeseburger. 12 year old girls are clever! |
I really need to get to bed, and I think this teaser deserves its own post...
|
Oh yes, there will be bacon! |
Thanks to Stacy for dishing out the random!
Mmmmmmm...pickles...salsa...and cupcakes...
ReplyDeleteNow I'm drooling!
I think you have way too many bread and butter pickles. In case the countertop breaks, you should send dome here. Lol
ReplyDelete*giggles* The burger cupcake is so cute. And I tell ya that the 22 jars of salsa would be consumed rather quickly at the Treleaven house! You have been *busy* !!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow you have been busy. The food looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteWhat?
ReplyDeleteOh my god I can't click out of this blog fast enough.
If my husband or kids see what kind of stuff I could be doing,
I'm dead.
bye bye, mama.
Let me know when you post something, like, say, someone writing "dust me" on top of their dresser.
(you are a love. really. WOW. Did my family get gyped.)
I love salsa! Relish and pickles...eh, not so much. Cupcakes like me, a lot.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are staying busy, which is good for any of us!
Yeah, I feel like ketchup does most of the jobs that relish tries. Someone suggested that I make homemade ketchup, but I draw the convenience and cost line somewhere!
DeleteYo...you need to find yourself a farmers market and make some mula
ReplyDeleteOh man, now I really need a cheeseburger cupcake!
ReplyDeleteFair food, fair food, yay!! Can't wait. :)
Sadly, I was not feeling great the day we went to the Fair, so I mostly took part in water bottles! I tried to live vicariously though!
DeleteWhen the apocalypse hits, I'm coming to your house. Save me some of the good pickles, won't you?
ReplyDeletePlease do!
DeleteLOVE the "cupcake in the shape of a hamburger" idea, 'cause really, you can never have too much cupcake!...PS: You are a busy bee!
ReplyDelete12 year old girls with their creativity and patience for finding fun cupcake ideas!
DeleteI'm so pinning that tomato.
ReplyDeleteAnd stop making the rest of us insomniacs look so bad.
Please do..pin away...I have an eggplant picture somewhere that I must try to find!
DeleteOh no, I just read during the insomnia nights, the rest was nervous energy during the day!
