R is for...

Rhoda

Shows I was watching in the seventies is my theme for the A-Z challenge this April.

"This is Carlton your doorman." (It is definitely not Garfield the cat.)

Sure, Mary Richards could throw her hat up in the air, but could anyone really wear a scarf headwrap thing like Rhoda? She deserved her own spin-off for that look alone!

I loved Brenda and Ida Morgenstern, and not just for the sarcasm.

    1. Sorry, the above deleted comment was mine. Spawn forgot to log out of his account. Grrr!

I know I've said this about a gatrillion times, but THIS truly is a classic! I loved this so much. I didn't always get the humour, being so young, but I still found it very funny. okay, I'm gonna go and weep for my lost childhood now.

  2. I liked Rhoda too. It was so funny. Great cast. And I always looked forward to 'this is Carlton your door man'. I believe that was Lorenzo Music and I don't think we ever saw him during the show's run...maybe the last episode?

    1. Yes, that was him. I think we saw an arm holding the door once in awhile. I was so bothered when he was Garfield's voice...so wrong!

    1. I am so glad you are enjoying it. The funny thing is that I wasn't going to do this one because I didn't think people would enjoy it like the songs for the past 2 years...I know nothing! ;)

  7. Hi. I was more of a Mary Tyler Moore fan but do remember liking Rhoda as her friend.
