...so let's jump right in, shall we, as I fill you in on what else went on in April. Our daughter turned 14, and was the big winner at BINGO that night. Check out what pattern she needed to win on that card...
Our son was inducted into National Honor Society. See what a serious student he is?
Fozzie tried a new hobby... I may have killed a peep in an emergency s'more making effort...
I considered a new career...
But my feline fortune teller told me it was a bad idea.
I wish she had also told me that these are not a good idea...
Okay, Foz, enough already. Nobody believes you caught that mid-air, and no I will not get you the salsa.
And of course a reminder for this Sunday...
...keep those greetings warm and respectful!
So there we go! If you are new here, finding your way from the a-z challenge, this is pretty much what happens on Tuesdays. Stacy hosts this fabulous random shindig. I really appreciate you stopping by, and This One's For You...
You just couldn't quit it, could you? The 70s songs are just too strong. Especially the Manilow.
ReplyDeleteAnd I much prefer snarky with barely contained hostility for my mother's day cards, thank you.
The force is strong in Barry!
DeleteLife went on in April, didn't it????
ReplyDeleteI couldn't bring myself to play the Manilow song. I knew I'd be singing it all day...
Come on!!!! You could have easily distracted yourself with the Copa if you needed to be rescued!
DeleteI always go for funny with the cards--sappy just isn't me. I also get to choose cards for my hubby to give to his mother--funny is safer.
ReplyDeleteI go with funny cards too, for both our moms. But can we back up a bit to those M&Ms? Are they really cakey? I will have to look for some! And are all those cereals yours?!?!?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteThey have a faint boxed cake taste about the chocolate. Yep, we are the proud owners of all that cereal
DeleteYour posts are fun. Good for your daughter to win the Bingo prize and so great for your son for his honors.

Wait! That's this Sunday...?
ReplyDeleteBarry sang that in person, especially for me. And the other people at the concert. Congratulations to your lovely children. But how could you do that to a peep? Oh, the horror!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Tell me Barry sang Looks Like We Made it to you as well! As for the Peep...ou have clearly never NEEDED a smore bad enough!
DeleteBarry is singing that for me! Welcome back random girl
ReplyDeleteWhat? Hold up, wha? What am I looking at here? If there's a nuclear disaster, I am taking my jug of milk and heading to your house.
ReplyDeleteI wish you had not informed me of the cake M&Ms. Can I get those with my face printed on them?
A big hearty congrats to your daughter for winning and your son for being scholarly awesome!
Yay, random!
We have plenty of bowls, but we run low on spoons sometimes!
DeleteI certainly hope your daughter was willing to share her winnings. Congrats to your son on his NHS induction--that is an awesome achievement!
ReplyDeleteHave you seen the new mini figures?
Love random posts! Congrats on your son getting into NHS- you must be proud!
ReplyDeleteDo you really have that much cereal?
ReplyDeleteI think I'd love to quit my job and go on dog doody duty.

You murdered a PEEP??? And more importantly, there are CAKE M&Ms??? I haven't been living right until now.
ReplyDeleteThat peep murder was completely justified. The crime was that you had no chocolate to complete our s'more and thus truly avert a s'more emergency. I may just have to write you a ticket for that.
ReplyDeleteGreat wonderful random randomness!!! And congratulations and happy birthday to your kids. You decide who gets which greeting.
You peep killer you.
ReplyDeleteHappy RTT! The peep killing was awesome!
ReplyDeleteHa, I like the random Barry Manilow.
