Musings from Suburbia on a variety of everyday topics. I have realized that MANY times, it is "just me", but I always hold out hope that there are others out there who occasionally see things as I do.

Delay...
This morning I was thinking about my 52 weeks of Happiness post, and had my ideas lined up. The time now seems inappropriate, and it feels like there are other things I am supposed to say. Today's events were truly unimaginable. Such a tragedy.
ReplyDeleteThis has really brought our country to its knees. I cannot imagine the grief, and my heart breaks for this community.
ReplyDeleteLike you Andrea, I'm at a loss for words. Although I'm across the pond, we're feeling the shock over here too.
ReplyDeleteI have been alternately shifting between despair and all out weeping today. I can not grasp this.
ReplyDeleteI finally built up enough courage to watch the evening knews after hearing about this earlier. I'm on my second box of Kleenex. Tragedy doesn't even begin to describe the heartbreak for all those involved.

ReplyDeleteReally, there are no words for such horror. We can only grieve.
ReplyDeleteSad. Just sad.
ReplyDeleteI have now stopped watching the news...I have cried most of the weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe whole thing is...bewildering. It's hard to find the words to talk about what happened.
ReplyDeleteAccidentally hit publish...
ReplyDeleteSo much grief. These words of yours come as close as anything to explaining how I feel: "I do know that words like terror, tragedy, fear and heartbreak are a completely awful intrusion upon words like joy, hope and peace."
I think it's all any of us know.
